You officially have 7 days left to help make Bionic fighters an OUYA title! With only a week to go Bionic Fighters needs your help to meet their Kickstarter goal. Never heard of Bionic Fighters? Well let us fill you in on it. Bionic fighters is a melee style combat game much like Super Smash Bros Melee. Like many great fighters from our youth Bionic Fighters offers a great game play experience with responsive controls and awesome graphics

This is the first offering from team Imagination Vent and offers Characters from popular indie games, Multiple stages to compete on, A large variety of game modes, Randomly dropped items, Extensive customization options, Up to 4 players, locally and online, in multiplayer, Training mode and it is Multi-platform spannincg across OUYA, Windows, MAC, Linux, PS4, and more! While the full game isn’t out yet Imagination Vent has offered up an Alpha build on OUYA to keep us drooling for more. We had a chance to speak with Jared Gingerich recently who is the creative director at Imagination Vent. Jared stated that if they don’t meet their funding goal the game may not come to OUYA during first round releases if at all which is sad considering the potential of this game.

While the OUYA alpha is only a demo of that the game could be it is already hand over fist better than some other fighters already on the system. Specifically the game gives you two fighters to test named Hali and Titus. The fighters can do  special attacks, taunts and grabs while trying not to fall off of the basic triple platform level. To defend yourself you have shields and double jumps to outsmart your opponent but watch out for the extra slide you experience when landing or you may find yourself respawning before you know it. Each fight lasts 3 kills before resetting the match. Need to know more check out the video below for their official Kickstarter footage

Unfortunately because the game is not an official OUYA title yet there isn’t much in the way of weapons, character or stage descriptions that we were able to experience but if you are looking for a ton of more info as well as what you could get from this game we urge you to check out their official kickstarter page and pledge to get this game funded!
